It's true!
My sister is pregnant with precious baby #2. Her wardrobe has changed lately. She gets told she is glowing and reminded that she needs to eat for 2. She can show off her little belly.
Well, guess what? I am expecting too and I am showing. Don't know what to look for? My hair! My hair has gotten long and it will continue to grow until my little girl comes home. From what we are hearing about the wait-times my hair is going to get very long! Since I can't measure my wait with my waist I will measure it with my hair. The wait will get long and uncomfortable but I will just have to bear it. When the wait is over and I have my daughter I will cut it off and donate it to Locks of Love. By then it may be long enough for 2 donations!
I have been planning on doing this for a long time but was afraid to put it in writing in case I couldn't take it any more and cut it off. I am just going for it, maybe now that it is in writing I'll be less likely to be tempted.
I think it is pretty cool, a child who needs hair will get it at the same time that a child who needs parents and parents who need a child will all have a great day!
So here is what my hair was like when we were researching agencies and next to it, what it looks like now.

That's a great idea!
I'm also growing my hair, and started it at my last haircut. It was the first one I'd had since bringing my daughter home from China a few months earlier. She adjusted very well to our family, but just freaked out when she saw someone touching my hair with scissors. I never went back for another haircut (this was a year and a half ago). I think I'll have enough to donate in October. She turns 3 in October, so I'm hoping she'll be able to watch me cut it off and mail it away! :)
