With all the political rhetoric flying around these days I feel the need for peaceful refuge away from insults and comebacks, finger pointing and sensationalism.
This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness.
Simply summed up and packaged tightly, the Dalai Lama captures my feelings exactly. If only we had the peace that kindness provides.
