My nieces and nephew will never remember a time when the color of one's skin or any other racial characteristic would hinder anything they or their contemporaries want to achieve. I am giddy with hope for this new era I am so excited and proud to be part of this history. I have more thoughts on the subject to come I am just fraught with so much emotion it has been hard for me to wrap myself around it. President elect Barack Obama is such a perfect reflection of all the things that make this country so great.
